Key Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher licensure in the State of South Carolina (no exceptions)
• Previous experience working with early childhood or elementary special education students highly desirable
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction to 3K and 4K students in an elementary setting
• Develop and implement IEPs and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain documentation and participate in team meetings as required

Position Highlights:

• Academic year placement: August 10, 2026 – May 21, 2027
• Monday–Friday, 7:15am–2:45pm schedule, totaling 37.5 hours weekly
