The daily schedule is structured from 7:50 AM to 3:50 PM, providing a balanced workday while fostering relationships with your students and teaming closely with staff.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in 3rd grade
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families, teachers, and support staff
• Passionate about advocating for and supporting diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
• Create and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students’ needs
• Foster a productive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate consistently with families regarding progress and strategies
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and paraprofessionals
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
