Special Education Teacher

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher license in North Carolina
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP implementation, accommodations, and modifications
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to student growth and success

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and specialized instruction for elementary school students
• Support students in resource and inclusion settings
• Implement and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications
• Adapt instruction to meet individual academic and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, families, and related service providers
• Monitor and document student progress and provide appropriate interventions
