Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- At least 2 years of experience in special education (SPED) preferred
- Strong ability to tailor instructional strategies for a wide range of learning profiles
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Collaborative spirit to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and resource support for students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress, conduct assessments, and adapt interventions based on individual goals
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Partner with general education teachers to ensure inclusive classroom experiences
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
