Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• At least 2 years of experience in special education (SPED) preferred
• Strong ability to tailor instructional strategies for a wide range of learning profiles
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Collaborative spirit to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and resource support for students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Track student progress, conduct assessments, and adapt interventions based on individual goals
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Partner with general education teachers to ensure inclusive classroom experiences
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
