What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience with K-12 students in inclusive and/or self-contained classrooms
• Comprehensive understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability when faced with changing student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Passion for creating an engaging, supportive classroom for diverse learners

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and delivering individualized instruction to K-12 students with varying abilities
• Creating and adapting lesson plans to accommodate different learning needs
• Drafting, reviewing, and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Working collaboratively with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining thorough records
• Employing a variety of teaching strategies and technologies to ensure student understanding and growth
• Supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development
