Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active PEL (Professional Educator License)—please have a copy available for presentation.
  • Prior experience or strong interest in working within a special education/resource room environment.
  • Solid understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and ability to tailor instruction to student goals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and contribute to a nurturing, student-focused atmosphere.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and support to students in a resource room setting, focusing on their unique learning objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and track student progress on IEP goals, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to promote student success.
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation aligned with school and district procedures.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing school initiatives.

This contract position runs from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and offers approximately 33.25 hours per week, supporting your work-life balance while maximizing your impact in the classroom.
