The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a weekly schedule of approximately 33.25 hours.

There are two available positions:

• Life Skills Self-Contained
• Instructional/Resource

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and active Professional Educator License (PEL) required; please be prepared to present a copy upon request
• Experience working with children in special education settings, with a focus on either life skills or instructional/resource support
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff
• Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering students’ individual growth
• Ability to implement and monitor IEPs, collect data, and adjust instruction as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to student needs in your assigned classroom
• Facilitate academic, social, and life skills instruction
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Work closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments
• Provide positive classroom management and promote a supportive learning environment
