The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a weekly schedule of approximately 33.25 hours.
There are two available positions:
- Life Skills Self-Contained
- Instructional/Resource

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and active Professional Educator License (PEL) required; please be prepared to present a copy upon request
- Experience working with children in special education settings, with a focus on either life skills or instructional/resource support
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff
- Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering students’ individual growth
- Ability to implement and monitor IEPs, collect data, and adjust instruction as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to student needs in your assigned classroom
- Facilitate academic, social, and life skills instruction
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Work closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments
- Provide positive classroom management and promote a supportive learning environment
