Two positions are available for dedicated professionals ready to act as grade level liaisons for students on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The assignments focus on 10th and 12th grades, providing exceptional educators with a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on students during pivotal academic years.

This position runs from orientation in late August through late June the following year, aligning with the school calendar. Each day begins at 7:05 AM and ends at 1:58 PM, offering a manageable schedule that supports work-life balance while allowing you to fully engage with your students’ needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Moderate Disabilities (5-12) license or certification
  • Experience as a Special Education Teacher, with strong understanding of inclusion practices
  • Ability to manage caseloads of 15-20 students efficiently and compassionately
  • Confident in drafting and chairing IEP annual reviews
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise between staff, students, and families
  • Organizational skills to serve as grade level liaison for students’ services and supports

Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for your grade level’s students with IEPs, advocating for their educational needs
  • Draft and conduct annual IEP review meetings in partnership with families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Implement inclusive instructional strategies, supporting access to the general curriculum
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate academic success for students in inclusive settings
  • Track student progress, document services, and maintain up-to-date records
