What You’ll Bring:

  • Current, valid Minnesota teaching license in special education (required)
  • Prior experience or a strong interest in working with students in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD), or specialized settings
  • Strong communication skills, flexibility, and deep commitment to student-centered practices
  • Ability to adapt instructional approaches to meet individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide specialized instruction to caseloads ranging from 4-19 students, depending on classroom assignment
  • Develop, implement and monitor IEPs, collaborating regularly with team members and families
  • Deliver instruction in diverse environments including Setting 1-4 classrooms, itinerant service models, and in-home settings for homebound students
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment with a focus on student engagement and progress
  • Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement processes
