Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
- Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Early Childhood Special Education, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, or providing homebound services preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with interdisciplinary teams, families, and administrators
- Ability to adapt instruction and interventions to meet individual student IEP goals
- Familiarity with due process paperwork and effective data collection practices
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction to assigned student caseloads in settings ranging from Autism (Setting 3/4) to ECSE, DCD, and homebound services
- Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining thorough records and reporting outcomes
- Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and support staff to ensure student needs are met
- Engage in ongoing communication with families regarding student progress and strategies
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events as needed
