Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Early Childhood Special Education, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, or providing homebound services preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities with interdisciplinary teams, families, and administrators
  • Ability to adapt instruction and interventions to meet individual student IEP goals
  • Familiarity with due process paperwork and effective data collection practices

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction to assigned student caseloads in settings ranging from Autism (Setting 3/4) to ECSE, DCD, and homebound services
  • Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining thorough records and reporting outcomes
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and support staff to ensure student needs are met
  • Engage in ongoing communication with families regarding student progress and strategies
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events as needed
