Key Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid and active Minnesota teaching license.
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, accommodations, and instructional strategies for varying exceptionalities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches to individual learning styles and needs.
• Candidates with prior experience in the district will have records verified to ensure a successful previous placement.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students, tailoring instruction to meet specific goals.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and engagement.
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
• Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Support students both academically and socially, addressing behavioral interventions as appropriate.
