An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide support and instruction for K-3rd grade students in an elementary school setting. This full-time, full school year contract position is ideal for educators passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments and making a positive impact on young learners with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement specialized instructional plans tailored to individual student IEPs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress.
  • Utilize specialized teaching strategies and interventions to support academic and social development.
  • Maintain clear and detailed records of student performance and behavior.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development to stay current with best practices in special education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in special education.
  • Experience working with K-3 grade students in an elementary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional methods, and classroom management.
  • Ability to create a positive, supportive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
