Step into a meaningful role supporting pre-k students as a Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher. Beginning August 24, 2026, and concluding November 13, 2026, this contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference during a formative period in a child’s education. You'll work with a manageable caseload of 10-15 young learners, all within a single building, allowing you to build strong relationships and provide consistent, personalized support.

Your dual certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education will empower you to tailor lesson plans and interventions that meet the diverse needs of your students, promoting their educational, social, and emotional growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Current dual certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education (required)
• Experience with early childhood special education populations preferred
• Strong classroom and behavior management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to adapt instruction based on IEPs and individualized student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to pre-k students with varying abilities
• Implement and adapt lesson plans to meet individual learning goals and IEP requirements
