Exciting opportunities are now available for Compliance Managers with experience in special education! This full-time, contract role spans the entire school year and is based in the Lakewood, OH area. Up to three positions are open, each assigned to a different K-8 school, offering professionals the chance to have a meaningful impact by ensuring compliance and effective case management for students with special needs.

In this role, you’ll focus on supporting special education processes rather than providing direct classroom instruction. Successful candidates will bring a strong background in special education, expertise in compliance protocols, and a collaborative spirit. You’ll work closely with dedicated teams of teachers and staff, participate in meetings, and help ensure that all documentation and processes support student success and legal compliance.

What we’re seeking:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher
  • Prior experience with case management or compliance in a school setting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Comfort navigating IEP processes and relevant documentation
  • Flexible, adaptive mindset and ability to prioritize
  • Experience in K-8 settings is preferred

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage compliance tasks and maintain accurate records for special education students
  • Support case management duties, ensuring deadlines and details are met
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to address student and legal needs
  • Attend and contribute to IEP and staff meetings
  • Provide expert advice and assistance on compliance issues as they arise

Hybrid schedules (3 days remote/2 days on-site) will be considered for qualifying candidates, supporting work-life balance and flexibility.
