Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Experience working with students with multiple disabilities (MD) preferred
- Skilled in executing modified curriculum and delivering individualized accommodations
- Strong classroom management abilities and familiarity with structured routines
- Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging instruction based on modified lesson plans for K-2 learners with multiple disabilities
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs), accommodations, and supports to meet student goals
- Foster a safe, supportive, and well-organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough, confidential records
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student achievements and needs
