Special Education Teacher - Lakewood, OH

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification or equivalent credentials
• Experience working with students with multiple disabilities (MD) preferred
• Skilled in executing modified curriculum and delivering individualized accommodations

• Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging instruction based on modified lesson plans for K-2 learners with multiple disabilities
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs), accommodations, and supports to meet student goals
• Foster a safe, supportive, and well-organized classroom environment
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure continuity and quality of care
