Key Skills & Desired Background:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential (or eligibility) for the state
- Experience with K-5 students, including differentiated instruction and behavior supports
- History of working in specialized classroom environments (independent learning, structured, and/or inclusion settings)
- Ability to collaborate with multiple school teams, support personnel, and families
- Commitment to fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom climate
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to adjust to the needs of different grade levels (Preschool – 5th Grade)
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementation preferred
Your Role:
- Lead specialized classrooms, providing tailored academic and behavioral instruction for assigned students
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
