Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (Emergency certifications are not accepted)
• Experience working with K–12 students, particularly in Emotional Support and Autistic Support settings
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Previous experience supporting students in small group and 1:1 settings is highly valued
• Capacity to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs of students across grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction and support for students in Emotional Support (grades 2–4) and Autistic Support (grades 1–2) programs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and IEPs
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and structured learning environment for all students
• Actively engage families, advocating for each student’s unique needs and progress
