Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina Special Education (SPED) Teaching License with Multi-Categorical or appropriate certifications.
  • EC certification/endorsement required.
  • Experience working in special settings (co-taught, resource, or self-contained classrooms) preferred.
  • Flexibility to serve on-site at multiple school locations.
  • Ability to provide a blinded resume, copies of certifications, and indicate preferred age group.
  • Availability for interview scheduling upon application.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instruction and individualized support to students in moderate and multi-categorical special education classrooms (PreK through high school).
  • Collaborate with general education and special education staff across varying sites.
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Engage with students, families, and staff to foster a positive learning environment for diverse learners.
