Special Education Teacher - Lancaster, Texas

Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education EC-12 certification required
• Additional content area certification is highly preferred
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher within a school environment
• Knowledge of middle school curriculum and inclusion strategies
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Duties:

• Co-teach and support students with diverse learning needs in general education classrooms
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct instructional support and adapt lessons for accessibility
• Collaborate with teaching teams and families to track student progress
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
