Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification
- Emergency Special Education Certification candidates will also be considered
- Experience working with upper elementary students (grades 4–5) preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, families, and service providers
- Understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP development
- Ability to adapt to varying classroom needs and effectively support diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality, push-in instruction and accommodations for students in grades 4–5
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan, modify, and implement effective strategies
- Monitor student progress and maintain compliant, up-to-date documentation
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with parents/guardians
