5th Grade Elementary Special Education Teacher | Lansdale, Pennsylvania

This position focuses on providing specialized support and helping learners achieve success within their general education classrooms. Working 40 hours per week, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality instruction, adapting lessons, and fostering a supportive learning atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification (emergency certification considered)
• Experience or strong interest in working with 4th and 5th grade students
• Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and ability to implement accommodations
• Commitment to collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure student growth and success
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide push-in special education support for 4th and 5th grade classrooms
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet individual student needs
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals
• Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and support teams
• Employ evidence-based instructional strategies to promote positive student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and track student progress
