5th Grade Elementary Special Education Teacher - Lansdale, PA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification
• Emergency Special Education Certification candidates will also be considered
• Experience working with upper elementary students (grades 4–5) preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, families, and service providers
• Understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP development
• Ability to adapt to varying classroom needs and effectively support diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality, push-in instruction and accommodations for students in grades 4–5
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan, modify, and implement effective strategies
• Monitor student progress and maintain compliant, up-to-date documentation
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with parents/guardians
