Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher in a full-time, contract role supporting a Therapeutic Learning Classroom for younger students in need of emotional and behavioral support. This classroom is designed for children who thrive in a highly structured and individualized setting, allowing you to deeply connect with each student while fostering their academic and life skill growth. You’ll collaborate closely with families, related service providers, and other supportive staff to ensure each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals are met with care and expertise.
Qualified candidates will bring:
- A valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certification in Special Education (PK–8 or equivalent)
- Direct experience utilizing TEACCH, PECS, ABA, or other structured teaching methodologies
- Expertise or training in restorative practices, trauma-informed care, or positive behavior support strategies
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish are highly desirable
