2nd Grade 1st Grade Special Education Teacher - Lansdale, Pennsylvania

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners in a K–2 Autistic Support classroom in the Lansdale, PA area. This contract position runs through June 11, 2027, with an immediate start date, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference for students at a foundational stage of their education. As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll deliver individualized instruction and provide essential support to students with autism, partnering closely with staff to help every child succeed.

This full-time role follows a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, totaling 37.5–40 hours per week. You’ll apply your expertise and compassion to nurture a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere while addressing students’ unique learning and behavioral needs.

Your Background:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification preferred
• Open to out-of-state licensed educators and those eligible for emergency certification
• Experience teaching in K, 1st, or 2nd grade or within an autistic support or special education setting
• Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented learning environment

Compensation reflects your experience and certification: emergency certified teachers are compensated between $35–$42 per hour, while certified teachers earn $42–$52 per hour.
