Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education License in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher, particularly with middle school students, is preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Passion for helping students achieve academic, social, and behavioral goals
• Ability to individualize instruction based on student needs and IEPs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to middle school students in a learning support classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and parents to support student success
• Adapt curricula and teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation per school and state requirements
