Special Education Teacher Job in Lansdowne, PA

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. In this role, you'll work with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized instruction and behavioral support that empowers students to achieve academic, social, and emotional success.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that align with students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
- Monitor student progress through ongoing assessments, data collection, and progress reporting.
- Modify curriculum and instructional materials to accommodate individual learning needs.
- Maintain accurate educational records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a closely related field.
- Valid Pennsylvania State Special Education Teaching Certification.
- Experience working with students with emotional disabilities, behavioral challenges, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, or multiple disabilities is preferred.
