Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities in inclusive and/or self-contained classrooms
- Deep understanding of IEP development and compliance
- Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and classroom management strategies
- Effective communication skills for working closely with parents, students, and multidisciplinary staff
- Ability to adapt curricula and teaching methods based on student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans aligned with individual IEP goals
- Track and report students’ progress, maintaining accurate documentation and records
- Foster a nurturing and positive learning environment conducive to growth for all students
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, therapists, and other specialists
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student success

- Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal special education guidelines
