This opportunity focuses on guiding 6th to 8th graders in a specialized Stride program designed to serve students with both low and high functioning autism, as well as possible learning disabilities. The position involves working within a self-contained classroom, managing a small caseload that does not exceed eight students, providing the support and individualized attention each learner deserves.

This is a long-term substitute role expected to run from late August through October, with the possibility of extension depending on leave coverage needs. Desired Qualifications:

• Maryland Special Education Certification for grades 6-12 is required; conditional certificates are welcomed.
