Key Qualifications:

• Maryland Special Education Certification for grades 6–12.
• Maryland Math Certification for grades 6–12, or current math certification with eligibility for special education certification.
• Experience working with middle school students, preferably within special education settings.
• Coursework or practice supporting learners with autism and diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver math instruction aligned to 6th–8th grade curriculum and IEP goals.
• Differentiate lessons for varied learning styles and abilities, adapting for individual needs.
• Partner closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff.
• Gather data on student progress, documenting achievement and adapting strategies as needed.
• Attend IEP meetings, track compliance, and maintain ongoing communication with families.

What You’ll Experience:

• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:15 pm, for a total of 40 hours a week.
