Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification
  • Experience working with middle school-aged students is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Resource Teacher for middle school students requiring special education support
  • Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to align with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Track and report student progress, maintaining all documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
  • Utilize data-driven strategies to support student development and positive outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a team approach for student achievement
