As a Supplemental Resource teacher, you’ll collaborate closely with classroom teachers and support staff to provide specialized instruction and individualized guidance, helping students achieve their academic and developmental goals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification relevant to early elementary grades
• Prior experience working in special education, resource, or inclusion settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction to early elementary students with diverse learning needs
• Implement and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and support classroom inclusion
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians on student progress
• Build a nurturing, supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and self-advocacy
