Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• For the General Education (math) classroom: active credentials in both Special Education and Math
• Experience working with diverse learners, including those with special needs or behavioral challenges
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom atmosphere

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
• Adapt lessons to meet students’ unique learning requirements and goals
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and families to optimize student progress
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all program and legal requirements
