Qualifications:

• Must hold a current and valid Missouri teaching license in Special Education
• Candidates actively licensed in another state, with Missouri licensure pending, may also be considered
• Experience working with diverse student populations in a school-based setting is highly preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential
• Flexibility to adapt to various classroom environments and needs

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver instruction tailored to students’ unique learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements for special education
