Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Possession of a valid Mild/Moderate license required for instructing in an elementary self-contained setting.
• Prior experience teaching elementary special education is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailoring instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with other educators, support staff, and families to create an inclusive, supportive classroom community.
• Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver specialized instruction that meets the unique needs of students on your caseload.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring student progress and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
