Key Qualifications:
- Active Kansas Low Incidence Special Education License (required)
- Experience teaching in an elementary school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to provide differentiated instruction and adapt lessons for a range of abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work alongside other educators, support staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Instruct and support elementary students within the LIFT Program, delivering tailored lessons that meet diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions to maximize student growth
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, related service providers, and administrative staff to ensure student success
