You'll work closely with eight students as part of the LIFT Program, providing individualized support to foster both academic and personal growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must hold an active Kansas Low Incidence Special Education License
  • Experience in elementary school environments is highly desirable
  • Strong commitment to personalized instruction and educational progress
  • Familiarity with adaptive curriculum and behavior management strategies
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and families
  • Ability to document student progress and participate in IEP development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, tailored instruction to a caseload of eight elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans focusing on each learner’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals within the LIFT Program
  • Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence
  • Monitor, assess, and record each student’s progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Communicate regularly with parents and staff to ensure comprehensive support
  • Participate in continuing education, team meetings, and professional development sessions
