Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Hold an active Kansas Low Incidence Special Education License
  • Skilled in adapting curriculum to individual learning needs
  • Experience designing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers
  • Committed to maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and individualized instruction for elementary students in the LIFT Program
  • Develop and track progress on IEP goals for each student in your caseload
  • Modify teaching strategies and materials to support diverse learning needs
  • Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians
  • Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and interdisciplinary planning
  • Advocate for students’ rights and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
