Special Education Teacher - Lenoir, NC

You’ll work full time, Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 3:30, in a collaborative school environment known for dedication to student success. The position is designed to be dynamic and responsive: if you’re open to variety, you can split your week between two welcoming campuses located just 2.5 miles apart. Prefer to stay in one location? Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials or certification, preferably for elementary grade levels
• Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly in inclusive or resource classroom settings
• Strong knowledge of general curriculum as well as IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Adaptability to manage a mixed caseload and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students with varied abilities
• Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in accordance with educational best practices
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service professionals
