Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience as an Adaptive EC Teacher or in a similar classroom setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt lessons and teaching strategies to support varied learning needs
• Flexible, patient, and resourceful approach to education

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with exceptionalities
• Develop and modify IEPs in compliance with regulations and best practices
• Collaborate with support staff, administrators, and families to promote student achievement
