Special Education Teacher in Leoma, TN

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification with either a 144 or 145 endorsement
• Experience working with middle school-aged children, particularly in a special education setting
• Strong understanding of intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted intervention services for students identified as needing special education support
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and areas for growth

• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to maximize learning
