This full-time, contract-to-hire role focuses on supporting students in grades K-5, helping them reach their fullest potential through differentiated instruction and collaborative strategies.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as a Special Education Teacher
  • Experience in elementary education, particularly within inclusive settings
  • Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Familiarity with co-teaching models a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and support to students with a range of learning needs in K-5 inclusion classrooms
  • Adapt and modify curricula, instructional techniques, and assessments to accommodate diverse learners
  • Develop and maintain effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams and parents
  • Track and report on student progress, using data-driven insights to guide instruction
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes self-advocacy and independence among students
  • Attend IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities as required
