What qualifications will set you up for success?

• Active Massachusetts Special Education teaching license (required)
• Previous experience with IEP/case management and progress monitoring
• Demonstrated ability to deliver accommodations and modifications in inclusive or pull-out settings
• Familiarity with Massachusetts DESE Special Education guidelines
• Strong classroom management skills and adaptability across varied student needs
• Proven track record of effective collaboration with families, general educators, and related service providers
• Experience with both individualized and small-group instruction, especially in co-teaching or inclusion models

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing targeted academic and behavioral support to students with disabilities in K–12 settings
• Utilizing evidence-based strategies for individualized and group instruction
• Supporting students within general education classrooms as well as specialized pull-out services
• Engaging actively in IEP development, reviews, and revisions
• Collaborating regularly with the broader Special Education team, instructional assistants, and general educators to ensure student growth and success
