K-5 Special Education Teacher - Levittown, Pennsylvania

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a passionate Special Education Teacher with expertise in autism support for grades K-5. This assignment begins August 17 and wraps up June 11, conveniently scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm.

Work in a dynamic elementary school setting, providing both resource and push-in/pull-out support, and help students thrive in small group environments. As an essential part of the school community, you’ll ensure thoughtful case management and individualized instruction to meet each student's unique needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year of direct teaching experience with students on the autism spectrum
• Valid Instructional I or II Pennsylvania Certification in K-12 Special Education (emergency certifications not accepted at this time)
• Demonstrated experience writing IEPs, monitoring progress, and supporting student goals
• Ability to adapt instruction for small group and individualized learning
• Passion for collaboration with staff and families to create an inclusive environment

Your Day-to-Day:

• Case management for students with autism in K-5, including IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Delivering engaging lessons in resource, push-in, and pull-out settings
• Planning and implementing targeted instruction for small groups based on IEP goals
• Collaborating with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to maximize student success
• Serving as an advocate for students and maintaining strong communication with families and caregivers

In return for your expertise, you can expect compensation ranging from $40 to $50 per hour, along with the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of elementary learners.
