2nd Grade Kindergarten Special Education Teacher | Levittown, Pennsylvania

Step into a meaningful role supporting young learners in a K–2 Autistic Support classroom, where your expertise will help shape the future for students with unique needs. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through June 11, 2027, offering a reliable Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with 37.5–40 hours per week.

In this position, you will:

• Provide individualized, specialized instruction to K–2 students requiring Autistic Support
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs, fostering both academic and behavioral growth
• Support learning objectives and social-emotional development through structured and adaptive methods
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, teaching assistants, and related service providers to achieve student goals and maintain a positive classroom environment
• Regularly communicate with families and school staff, contributing to IEP meetings and student progress reviews

What we look for:

• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, with a focus on early elementary (Kindergarten through 2nd Grade) and/or Autistic Support settings
• Valid PA Special Education certification is preferred; however, out-of-state licensed educators and those eligible for emergency certification are encouraged to apply
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs, adapting curriculum, and supporting diverse learning styles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families

Compensation is competitive, with emergency certified teachers earning $35–$42 per hour, and certified teachers receiving $42–$52 per hour.
