Key Qualifications:

• Valid Instructional I or II Pennsylvania Certification in K-12 Special Education
• Emergency certification considered for highly experienced, qualified candidates
• Solid background providing educational services to secondary-level students
• Knowledge of IEP development, goal progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction and supports to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and associated service providers
• Track student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians
• Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in professional meetings, trainings, and required documentation

Pay for this position ranges from $37 to $50 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
