Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid ME teaching license in Special Education (required)
• Previous experience working with high school students is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and adapt individualized instructional plans
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct special education instruction to high school students as part of the ESY program
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to address student needs
• Track progress and maintain accurate student records
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
