Position Details:
- Full-time
- 2026–2027 School Year
* Two openings available:
- K–1 Self-Contained Special Education Teacher
- Grades 2–4 Functional Life Skills (FLS) Teacher
- Onsite position

Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families.
- Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to support student growth.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications:
- Active Maine 282 Special Education Certification required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
