Open positions:

• Math Resource Teacher: Guide students in mathematics at the resource level. Requires both Special Education Certification and Mathematics Certification.
• Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher: Empower high school students to gain essential academic, vocational, and life skills. Candidates must hold Special Education Certification and a Core Content Certification.

Both roles are based onsite at a respected high school and extend through the end of the academic year, offering valuable hands-on experience and the chance to build enduring relationships with students and staff.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teaching Certification (required for both positions)
• Math Certification required for Math Resource role; Core Content Certification required for Life Skills role
• Demonstrated experience working with high school-aged students in special education settings
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Ability to collaborate with school teams, families, and service providers
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to student needs and strengths
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as appropriate
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and challenges
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events
