Special Education Teacher - Lewisville, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
• Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Instruct and support a caseload of 10-15 elementary students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Coordinate closely with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families
• Adapt curriculum materials, assessments, and teaching methods to differentiate instruction
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and collaborative problem-solving
• Foster a safe, positive, and encouraging classroom environment
