Step into a vital role guiding high school students toward success as a Special Education Teacher for grades 9–12 during the 2026–2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to foster growth and inclusion in a single, well-supported campus, providing services both in dedicated categorical classes and through collaborative co-teaching within the general education environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Teach one categorical special education course
  • Co-teach in general education classrooms to promote inclusive practices
  • Implement IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications for student success
  • Maintain clear documentation and track student progress
  • Work closely with families, general and special education staff, and related service professionals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
  • Benefit from an 85-minute daily prep period for planning, documentation, and professional collaboration

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current, active Special Education teaching license/certification
  • Experience with high school-aged students strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Commitment to supporting students with a range of learning, social, and behavioral needs

You’ll enjoy a consistent weekday schedule (7:45 AM – 3:30 PM, 35 hours/week) from August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027, within a community dedicated to student growth and educator support.
