Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students in self-contained and/or resource settings
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to adapt lesson plans to diverse learning abilities
• Collaborative attitude and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet unique student needs across grade levels
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and colleagues
• Use varied teaching strategies to engage and inspire students
• Monitor student progress, maintain educational records, and communicate regularly with families
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and school administration to support student success
• Participate in school meetings, staff development, and ongoing training
