Soliant is seeking qualified Special Education Teachers for full-time, school-based positions in the Lexington, South Carolina area for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for dedicated educators who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.
This Special Education Teacher opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a collaborative team of educators, service providers, and families to deliver individualized instruction and support. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering student growth while ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and educational best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students receiving Special Education services.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, therapists, and families to support student achievement.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Modify curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
• Utilize assessment data to drive instructional decisions and interventions.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
• Active South Carolina Special Education Teaching Certification required.
• Soliant offers Licensing Assistance for qualified candidates.
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and Special Education compliance.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of Special Education instructional practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary educational teams.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
