Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Must hold a current, valid Missouri teaching license in Special Education (K-12).
  • The district will also consider educators with pending Missouri licensure if currently fully licensed in another state.
  • Deep understanding of IEP development and implementation, progress monitoring, and data-driven instructional practices.
  • Collaborative approach with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student growth.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Previous classroom experience in resource, co-teaching, or self-contained settings preferred.
